Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Statement describes the types of information Fleet Financial, Inc dba iLendingDIRECT, LLC (“ILD”) collects from and about you when you visit our website (“Site”), This Privacy Statement also explains how ILD may use and disclose such information, as well as your ability to control certain uses of it.

Information You Provide to Us

ILD collects information from you when you choose to provide it to us. This includes, but is not limited to, (1) the creation of an account or loan application either directly with ILD or through a third-party who then disseminates your information to various platforms, including ILD, for the purposes of loan consideration, (2) when you accept a preapproved firm offer of credit, (3) request information or complete an application directly with ILD, (4) sign up for newsletters or our email lists, use our Site, or otherwise contact us.

The information we collect may include your name, address, email address, telephone or mobile phone number, and Social Security number, as well as employment and income verification.  We will also collect information related to the loan collateral, such as vehicle year, make, model, and Vehicle Identification Number (“VIN”), current vehicle lienholder, mileage and outstanding loan amount. You may be required to provide or clarify certain additional personal information in order to apply for and receive ILD services.

Information We Automatically Collect

We may use cookies or other technologies to automatically collect certain information when you visit our Site or interact with our emails. For example, if you are responding to an offer of credit, we may automatically populate your personal information into our system once you enter your offer code. Additionally, we may automatically collect certain non-personal information from you such as your browser type, operating system, software version, and Internet Protocol (“IP”) address. We also may collect information about your use of the Site, including the date and time of access, the areas or pages that you visit, the amount of time you spend using the Site, the number of times you return, whether you open, forward, or click-through emails, and other Site usage data.

Information Collected From Other Sources

We may obtain information about you from other sources, including credit bureaus and fraud detection services. This information may include name, updated address or contact information, and information about your credit history and score. We may combine this information with the information we collect from and about you to determine continued creditworthiness, provide fraud detection services, and help us provide our services to you. You may be asked to provide proof of employment and income


ILD may use the information we collect from and about you to:


ILD may share the information we collect from and about you: (1) to our Service Providers and Lending Partners, if the disclosure will enable them to perform a business, professional, or technical support function for us; (2) as necessary if we believe that there has been a violation of ILD’s Terms of Use or of our rights or the rights of any third party; (3) to respond to judicial process or provide information to law enforcement or regulatory agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as permitted by law, or otherwise as required by law; and (4) as described to you at the point of collection.

ILD may sell or purchase assets during the normal course of our business. If another entity acquires us or any of our assets, information we have collected from and about you may be transferred to such entity. In addition, if any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against us, such information may be considered an asset of ours and may be sold or transferred to third parties. Should such a sale or transfer occur, we will use reasonable efforts to try to require that the transferee use personal information provided through the Site in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Statement.


ILD may contract with third parties to perform functions related to the Site (“Service Providers”). Service Providers may have access to your personal information needed to perform their business functions, but may not use or share that personal information for other purposes.


ILD is aligned with various Credit Unions, Banks and other Lending Institutions who set forth eligibility criteria for customer loans and financing.  Lending Partners will have access to your personal information and will make final determination as to loan and financing opportunity and eligibility.


The Site may have links to third-party websites, which may have privacy policies that differ from our own. We are not responsible for the practices of such sites.


Protecting children’s privacy is important to us. We do not direct the Site to, nor do we knowingly collect any personal information from anyone under the age of eighteen.


We have taken certain physical, administrative, and technical steps to safeguard the information we collect from and about our customers and Site visitors. While we make every effort to help ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee our security measures.
